One of the hardest things I’ve had to deal with while living the Keto lifestyle, is giving up some of my favorite things. I miss them, but most of those things contained lots of carbs, and sugar. While your body definitely needs SOME carbs, and SOME sugar, I was overdoing it. I can honestly admit that trying to maintain ketosis is hard. I find it easier to make up for that, by cutting out carbs later in the day, if I happen to slip out. However, it’s easier to control slip ups, if you have healthy alternatives for the things you’re slipping up on.
One product that I am extremely thankful for is Two Good. Two Good is a yogurt that only contains 2 grams of sugar, and 3 net carbs. Amazing right??!! At 3 net carbs, I can comfortable have a couple of these a day, and not worry about sending my body out of Ketosis. Not to mention, it’s only 80 calories, and has 12 grams of protein!
The yogurt is also very delicious. My only complaint is that it does not come in a lactose free version yet. I really should not be consuming dairy products, but thanks to Lactaid, I can enjoy dairy still .
